Badou Jack Stops Nathan Cleverly to take World Title

NATHAN CLEVERLY surrendered his WBA light-heavyweight crown after being stopped by Badou Jack in the fifth round.

The Welshman was left battered and bloodied by Jack who delivered a vicious performance to become a two-weight world champion.Cleverly came into this looking to secure a shot at American star Andre Ward but admitted if he lost he would have to consider his future in the sport.It looks like his career could well be over now.This was a five-round destruction job as Jack peppered him with shots from the first bell.The clash, on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather’s money match with Conor McGregor, started fast as Jack lashed in body shots that left the Welshman wincing.
